My Favourite Book Harry Potter – Essay
My favourite book is Harry Potter, written by J.K. Rowling. It is a series of seven fantasy novels that tell the story of a young wizard named Harry Potter and his adventures in the magical world. The first book is called Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and it is the beginning of an incredible journey full of magic, friendship, danger, and bravery.
Harry Potter is an ordinary boy who lives with his unkind aunt, uncle, and cousin. On his eleventh birthday, he finds out that he is actually a wizard and has been accepted to study at a magical school called Hogwarts. This is where the real adventure begins. At Hogwarts, Harry makes two best friend, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Together, they explore the magical world, attend spell classes, and face many challenges.
One of the things I love most about the Harry Potter books is the world that J.K. Rowling has created. It is full of amazing things like moving staircases, magical creatures, flying broomsticks, and talking portraits. Every chapter makes me feel like I’m part of that magical world. Hogwarts feels like a place I would love to visit and live in.
My favourite character, of course is Harry. He is brave, kind, and always stands up for what is right, even when it’s difficult. I also really like Hermione because she is smart, loyal, and always ready to help her friends. Ron brings a lot of humour to the story and is also a great friend. The friendship between these three characters is very strong and inspiring.
The books are full of exciting moments. I enjoy reading about the magical classes, the spells, and the mysterious secrets hidden in the castle. I especially love the Quidditch matches, a magical sport played in the air on broomsticks. It’s so creative and exciting to imagine! The main villain is Lord Voldemort who is very scary with a snake like face. Harry has to face him many times but no matter how dangerous things get Harry never gives up.
The story also teaches us many valuable lessons. It shows us the importance of friendship, loyalty, courage and love. It reminds us that even in the darkest times there is always hope. Harry’s story inspires me to be brave and kind in my own life.
Reading Harry Potter is not just reading a book, it’s like going on an adventure. I have read the entire series and I plan to read it again. Every time I read it I discover something new and exciting. That is why Harry Potter is and will always be my favourite book.
