Here is the note he has left for us to share with you…
Hello my name is Casper and I am twelve years old, well… only just. Let me explain…
Have you ever felt something wasn’t right? Maybe you knew something wasn’t right…
Me too. I was just a normal boy who loved his mum and dad but then something happened. Something terrible, something bad.
Boys in our local area started to vanish without a trace. Not just any boys, dark haired
boys all aged twelve.

Let’s get to it..

Mum and Dad had a door under the stairs, it was always locked, they never told me where it leads to or what is beyond the door. One day I woke up and the house was covered with blood marks and slashes. I checked the door and it was wide open. I heard glass breaking, I ran through the door and slammed it shut.

What was beyond the door sent shivers through by body, there were stairs, no lights, just stairs. I went down and saw broken chains with a type of table. Id never seen a table like this before, it was white and almost surgical looking, but what would I know? I never get to leave the house anymore.

The table had the names of children that had gone missing. The scariest thing? I was turning twelve tomorrow. When I looked, my name was there too, so was tomorrows date.

I was going to run to my phone and call the police. I raced back up to the stairs but there they were, mum and dad. They hit me hard, knocking me out. I woke up in chains in darkness.

They had adopted another child just a year ago and he is turning ten tomorrow; we bonded over sharing a birthday when he first arrived. I wish I could warn him. My only friend. My time is nearly up; I am coming of age.

The next day, my birthday, I woke up to my Mum in my face looking at me with a murderous grin and dad holding something I couldn’t quite see, it looked like a weapon. I could see the shine of what looked to be something sharp.

I tried to break out of my chains, pulling and thrashing as hard as I could but then I looked down and there was blood on the floor pooling around my feet. It wasn’t from me, it was from the boy, my Mum and my dad.

“Who is this boy? And why is he so happy?” I screamed. No reply from anyone, just laughter.

My mum then quietly said something to me, “No one will know it was me and your father that killed them all.” She unlocked my chain; it thudded to the floor and suddenly all three of them disappeared. I heard sirens outside; the swat team busted in and arrested me for murder.

I don’t know how long it’s been since I died by death penalty. I do however know, whoever finds this note needs to hear this. If your parents have a locked door that you can’t go in and you’re twelve the next day.
RUN BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.
