Movie Review – How To Train Your Dragon
Yesterday, my family and I went to see the live action movie ‘How to Train Your Dragon’. It was one of the coolest films I have ever seen!. I was a big fan of the animated movies and even the TV series which is on Netflix but the live-action version was just amazing. I was so excited to watch it because I love dragons, adventure and flying scenes.
This movie is full of emotions, amazing visuals and a beautiful friendship between a boy and a dragon. For people who don’t know what this movie is all about, the story is about a young Viking boy named Hiccup who lives on the island of Berk with his father who is the Chief of the village. His village always fights dragons because they think dragons are dangerous. But one day, Hiccup finds an injured dragon called Toothless and instead of hurting him, he helps him. Slowly, they become best friends and Hiccup learns that dragons are not bad at all. He even teaches the other Vikings how to train dragons instead of fighting them.
What I loved most about the movie is the friendship between Hiccup and Toothless. It shows that even when someone looks scary they can still be kind and friendly. I also liked how Hiccup was not strong like the other Vikings but used his brain to solve problems. That made me feel like even if you’re different and physically weak you can still be a hero.
The special effects in this movie version is amazing! Toothless looks so real like he could fly out of the screen. The flying scenes made me feel like I was riding on a dragon myself. The music is also very nice and matches the feelings in each part of the movie.
This movie taught me not to judge others too quickly and to be kind even to those we don’t understand. I think everyone should watch How to Train Your Dragon because it’s full of adventure, heart and magic. It’s a movie that makes you laugh, cry, and cheer at the same time.
I give it 10 out of 10 stars!
