The Worst School

The Worst School

Once upon a time there was a boy named Sarvesh. He was a kind and hardworking boy. His mother and father were both farmers struggling to make ends meet. Sarvesh wanted to go to school but his parents didn’t have enough money to afford his education.

One day his parents decided to look for a school with lower fees. While searching they came across a school named NPS School. Hoping for an opportunity they approached the gate but the watchman blocked their way.

Sarvesh’s father asked “Why are you not letting us in?”

The watchman sneered and replied “Because you are poor and worthless people. This school is not for people like you.”

Just then the school principal and a teacher overheard the conversation and came outside. The principal asked “Why are you stopping them?”

The watchman said arrogantly “They look poor and useless.”

The principal frowned and said firmly “They are not worthless people. Let them in.”

Sarvesh and his parents were taken to the principal’s office where they discussed school admission. The teacher explained “The regular school fee is ₹10,000 but since they are new we can charge them ₹50,000.”

The principal nodded in agreement and said “Yes the school fee will be ₹50,000.”

Sarvesh’s parents were shocked. “₹50,000? How can we arrange such a huge amount?”

The teacher sternly said “You have one day to pay. Otherwise there will be no admission.”

Desperate to educate their son Sarvesh’s parents returned home and gathered all their gold and silver jewelry. The next day Sarvesh’s father went to a shop sold everything and collected ₹50,000.

Feeling hopeful they returned to the school and handed over the money to the principal. She took the money and gave them a receipt.

However as they were leaving a police officer noticed them and became suspicious. He stopped them and asked “Why are you handing over such a huge amount of cash?”

When Sarvesh’s father explained the situation the officer’s face darkened. “This is a scam! No school should demand such an amount. You’ve been cheated!”

The police immediately arrested the principal and the teacher. They returned the money to Sarvesh’s family and warned them “Never give such large amounts to unknown people without verifying.”

Two years later the corrupt principal and teacher were finally convicted and sentenced to jail. Meanwhile Sarvesh’s family used the money wisely to build a new home and start a better life.

But the story didn’t end there. Seeking revenge the principal and teacher escaped from jail and tried to track down Sarvesh’s family. However the police were already on high alert.

One day in the area of Perumbakkam the police spotted the two fugitives trying to flee. A chase followed but the police finally captured them. They were brought before the judge again.

This time the judge declared “You will never be allowed to step out of jail again. Justice must be served!”

And so Sarvesh’s family lived happily and safely knowing that the dishonest people who had tried to exploit them would never harm anyone again.
