The End Is Near
The end is near, there is no where to run, no where to hide. It’s just me and him, his glaring eyes feels that thousand knifes piercing my skin. He smiles menacingly at me. I cower with fear but try to put a brave front.
I pray to the almighty to come and save me. The beast takes a step forward. I tremble and look around for help. He opens his mouth as he starts to pounce. I try to think of what to do next.
As the beast lunges towards me I dash underneath him. His fur brushing against my back. I am too quick for him. I dash to my room and close the door behind me. I can hear the beast scratching my door.
After sometime the scratching stops. Has the beast gone ?
I wait for some more time and then slightly open the door ajar. My face is dripping with sweat and my feet is numb. I come out of the room and heave a sigh of relief.
Alas, I was being fooled. The beast pounces on me and licks me face happily.
No !! Yuck !!! Dog slobber. Get off me Bruno.
