All About My Hero Academia
Okay so, My Hero Academia is like the coolest anime EVER! It’s about this world where almost everyone has superpowers, but they call them Quirks. Some people can shoot fire, control gravity, grow super long arms or even talk to animals! It’s AWESOME!
The main character is this super nice kid named Izuku Midoriya, but his friends call him Deku. At first, he doesn’t have a Quirk at all (which is really sad because he loves heroes SO much), but then one day he meets his idol, the number one hero ever ‘All Might!!!’ And guess what?! All Might gives Deku his own power called ‘One For All’ and now Deku can be a hero too!
Deku goes to this school called U.A. High, where they train to become pro heroes. His class is called Class 1-A and they’re all super cool and strong. There’s Bakugo (he’s loud and explodes stuff), Todoroki (he’s got ice AND fire powers, like WHAT), Uraraka (she can make stuff float), and a bunch more awesome kids.
But it’s not all fun and games. There are villains too. The biggest bad guys are All For One (he steals other people’s Quirks!) and his student Shigaraki who has this super creepy power where if he touches you with all five fingers, you turn to dust. The League of Villains is trying to destroy society and wipe out heroes.
There are so many epic battles like when All Might uses his final smash attack called United States of Smash and defeats All For One!! And then he points at the camera and says, “You’re next”
That was awesome, OMG that part gave me chills! He was telling the world, and especially Deku that it’s now his turn to step up and be the next Symbol of Peace.
What I love about My Hero Academia is that it’s not just about cool fights and powers (though there are LOTS). It’s also about friendship, believing in yourself and never giving up even when everything feels impossible. Deku cries a lot but he never gives up and always wants to help people.
So yeah, if you haven’t watched it yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! It’s got action, emotions, cool characters, and amazing music too.
