Save Water
I turn the tap and nothing’s there,
Just sputters, bubbles, empty air.
No water for my morning drink,
No splashy fun in the kitchen sink.
The plants look sad, the grass is brown,
The rivers low, the fish might drown.
The sky forgot to cry this year,
And now the ponds just disappear.
We used to waste it every day,
Left taps on while we ran away.
Washed our cars and filled the pool,
Didn’t follow the “Save Water” rule.
Now Mom says “Use just a cup”
And “Turn it off when brushing up!”
We carry buckets, count each drop,
Wishing all this drought would stop.
Water’s precious, now I see,
It’s not just something fun or free.
Let’s fix our ways and do what’s right
Save every drop, day and night!
