March On, Soldier
As a child, I had a dream,
Almost impossible to achieve,
When I went and told it,
People would laugh and leave.
And then I said to myself,
March on, soldier.
As a teen, I had a vision,
A purpose, a resolution,
But I was just shoved away,
With no mercy or patience.
And then I said to myself,
March on, soldier.
As an adult, I had perseverance,
To think that there were no boundaries,
I wasn’t ready to accept penance,
I was even ready to cross the seven seas.
And then I kept saying to myself,
March on, soldier
