Beyond The Windows
Green leaves soaring through the air,
Ginormous sunflowers waving their hair.
Crawling creatures creeping over the soil,
Hiding out of sight when the sun starts to boil.
Spikey moist grass spiking the earth’s ground,
The prey tip toes at night, making no sound.
Bushy trees blocking out all the sunlight,
The ocean is clean, but it only lasted “one night”.
I wish the air was still fresh just like how it used to be,
We worry about our phones but not the world we see.
Nature is losing the priceless voice that we’d hear.
The plants might not make it another year.
The sea is filled with fish but now just waste,
There old harm-free world is being replaced,
What was once pretty won’t be seen ever again,
This might be the only nature I see when I am ten…
The flowers are blooming too late, I wonder why?
The ice is melting each second, I wonder why?
The animals are becoming extinct, I wonder why?
The earth is breaking apart, I wonder why.
