One might not know how adequate amount of water and sunlight is required for the greener grass. Truth remains constant that there’s nobody during hardships of pottery but when the statue of glamour is sculpted, there’s everybody to congratulate the artist.

At its core, this proverb highlights that people crave for what they do not have and don’t prioritize the possessions. It is green around the gills to know that grass is always considered greener on the other side of fence, at the neighbor’s place. The tendency to compare oneself with others, whether being over the moon is what that is filled in human blood which flows as ‘jealousy’. It is too unfortunate to ascertain this reality that people don’t desire their well-being and prosperity but crave other’s adversity. There is no self-satisfaction and no gladness among oneself.
