Ghost Town

When I was small, I lived in a society. I recently moved back to this society six months ago. Exactly one week ago, I suddenly started feeling strange. Things in my house started disappearing, such as my books, pens, pencils, toys, etc. I told my parents that things were disappearing from our house, but they told me that I might have kept them somewhere and simply forgotten about them. Somehow, I agreed with them.

After another week, a major attack by ghosts happened in my city. I was safe because I hid in an unknown place, but my parents and family were out in the city. Eventually, they died in this incident.

I somehow learned to live without my parents and family, but I faced many difficulties.

Twenty years later, I got the chance to conduct an excavation in the same city. According to my research, the ghosts had left the city. With lots of emotional turmoil and fear, I went to my old residence. To my surprise, I saw that everything was in the same place where I had left it. Even the AC was on, and every other electronic device was still working, except the lights and fans.

Seeing this, I was scared and shocked. However, I was also curious and wanted to know the real reason behind everything still working properly even after 20 years.

Hence, I took samples of the items from my old residence to the lab for testing. During my research, I discovered a shocking fact that shook me entirely. I found ghost DNA in the samples! I even discovered that the ghosts had left traces of their movements to their next location.

Using my advanced AI Dragon technology, I found the present location of the ghosts. I was curious to go there, so I took two of my friends with me: Jantar, the Ghost Hunter, and Mantar, the Detective.

When my friends and I reached the place where the ghosts were currently residing, we started searching for them. Suddenly, I spotted a ghost. As soon as we saw each other, he tried to run away. But immediately, I told Jantar to fire his ghost gun, which had a capsule designed to trap ghosts.

Soon, the ghost was trapped inside the capsule. We took the ghost to my lab.

After reaching the lab, I used the AI Ghost Translator and asked him, “Why did you attack Ninja City 20 years ago, where my parents and family were killed?”

The ghost replied that he and his friends were actually good ghosts, but humans had destroyed their homes, and they had no place to live.

After hearing this, my friends and I understood the situation. We told him that we could help them by giving them a speech that they could present to humans, with our support.

However, the ghost was worried and asked, “How can a speech between ghosts and humans help us?”

We replied, “We have worked a lot with the society and the people, and they are now ready to listen to you.”

After hearing this, the ghost became happy and promised that they would never attack humans again.

The following week, my friends and I gave the ghosts a speech device that would allow them to communicate with people. This would help them protect themselves and ensure that humans would not destroy their homes.

One month later, the Ghost Chief called us and offered us the chance to become their kings. He also offered to give us magical powers. However, we would have to stay with the ghosts to receive all these things.

Now I want to ask you a question:

What would you want to do?

Option 1: Stay with the ghosts and get magical powers.

Option 2: Stay with humans but not get magical powers.
