My Love for Reading
I got most of my knowledge from the pages of a book,
When I did not read, to settle me, a lot of time it took.
Before, I did nothing except read a story,
When I was bored, I’d just read an exciting mystery.
To me, books are really efficient,
They’re just another way of studying anything important.
From books, you don’t only get knowledge; you’re also entertained,
So when you’re bored, take a book and you’ll be sustained.
It’s not only studies; there’s a load of other things too,
There’s books like autobiographies, where everything is true.
And don’t forget fiction books, where the mystery starts,
These are my favourites; with them I did start.
Books teach me a lot,
Bad things—they taught me how to spot.
Apart from that, there’s also something else,
The ability to think smartly when there is no one else.
So this is why I love reading books,
Whatever genre it may be, I’ll be satisfied with a good book.
Remember, books can be your source of wisdom,
Regardless of whatever happens.
