The monkey who grants wishes
Once upon a time there was a girl named Fiona. Fiona loved monkeys after she saw a movie of monkeys. One day before going to bed she wished she had a monkey friend!
After she wished for having a monkey friend she slept. Her eyes suddenly opened at exactly 3 AM. She saw something standing in the corner of her room. It looked like a monkey she saw in the movie. She gasped.
The mysterious monkey said, “You can grant 3 wishes.”
“OMG,” said the girl. “Ok so I want so so many things!”
“But don’t be greedy like asking for being rich and living in a mansion,” said the monkey.
“Ok so I want a big room. I want you as my friend or pet and I want my school to give me no homework! Your wish is my command,” said the monkey.
The next day Fiona told everything to her mom. Her mom thought, “Haha, it’s just your imagination.”
“No mom, no, you don’t understand. It was real.” But her mom didn’t believe her.
That night the monkey appeared again, but this time it wasn’t for wishes, it was for help, as a villager was trying to catch the monkey.
The monkey said, “Fiona, help me.” Fiona grabbed the monkey from outside the window and hid it under her blanket.
The villager shouted from her window, “Hey, have you seen a monkey anywhere?”
“No,” said Fiona nervously.
“You look suspicious,” said the villager. “I’m coming in.”
As soon as he came in from the window, Fiona wished, “I wish the villager can go back to his home.”
“Your wish is my command,” said the monkey.
The villager disappeared. From then on, they were best friends.
