Save the rainforest

The rainforest is one of the most beautiful, amazing, and important places on Earth, and it
needs our help right now. That’s why we need to protect it.

Firstly, rainforest trees are a source of food and shelter for many animals. If we cut down the
trees, they will lose their homes and can become extinct.

Secondly, unfortunately, many trees are cut down every minute. It is estimated that we are
losing about 50 football pitches of rainforest every minute. If this continues, large areas of
rainforest could disappear in the future.

Lastly, rainforests are an important source of ingredients for modern medicine. More than
25% of the medicines used today come from the rainforest.

Surely you understand how important the rainforest is. It is a home for animals, a source of
medicine, and one of the most important places on Earth. If we do not protect it now, we
could lose it forever.
