One Little Birdie
One little birdie, sitting on a stone;
sitting on a stone, sitting all alone.
Two little birdies, two little doves;
The two little doves are falling in love.
Three little birdies, weaving some twigs;
building a nest with the help of sticks.
Four little birdies, all with their mom;
sleepy because she’s singing them a song
Five little birdies, trying to fly;
trying to fly, high up in the sky.
Six little birdies, sitting on the beach;
chirping at the waves coming from the sea.
Seven little birdies, eating something sweet;
It’s the fruit that fell from the tree.
Eight little birdies, flying away;
flying together along the bay.
Nine little birdies, saying goodbye,
now they’re all grown up, they can live their life.
Ten little birdies, how they wish they could,
go back into their childhood.
