Quest for Prosperity
In a world of wildlife, there was a country named Commonwealth where various types of animals used to live. They were happily settled along with their families. They were completely satisfied with the government of that country. Not only the Commonwealth country, but other countries like Africa, America, Canada, and others came to the Commonwealth for justice and support from the great leader of the Commonwealth.
The country Commonwealth was known for its great leader, “The Wilson.” He was a brave lion. Wilson was known for his justice. Once in the CC (Commonwealth Country), the creatures started to face some sort of food scarcity, but they weren’t ready to tell this to King Wilson, as they were thinking that their king had done a lot for them; if they told him, he would definitely become sad. Even no one noticed.
Nothing can be hidden from a king; the same happened. The king’s observation team (including monkeys who were paid as messengers) found that some of the people of CC (Commonwealth Country) were facing food scarcity due to the rapid growth of population. Then the team told King Wilson. King Wilson was so happy to know that the people of CC loved him that much. He decided to provide justice to the creatures as a gift for their love to him.
At first, he held a meeting with his council (locals). There, they discussed what issue the people were facing and why. The team of monkeys informed King Wilson that only some of the people faced food scarcity due to overpopulation. The monkeys spoke first. Then, senior officers joined the discussion. They discussed that they had to take a step from which the people could live peacefully. Later, they didn’t find any best solution. No final decision was made.
King Wilson was sitting in his grand seat, looking tense. He was thinking about the people of CC. Then his country’s minister came. King Wilson didn’t even see him. The minister asked, “Oh, my beloved leader, why are you that tense about only some of the poor people of CC?”
The king smiled with his tensed face and said, “My dear minister, it’s not just about some poor people of CC; it’s about the well-being of our entire kingdom. As a ruler, I believe that every citizen deserves access to basic necessities like food. I will not rest until we find a solution to this problem and ensure that all our citizens can live with dignity.”
After listening to his king, the minister agreed. Later, he told his king, “Did you notice something in the meeting?” He simply said, “No! Let you tell.” The minister answered and said, “Our advisors, owls (the whole team), were not present during the meeting; maybe they can tell us a better solution.”
Later, the king ordered his soldiers to call the owl (leader of the owls’ team). The owl came and was asked by the king why his team didn’t come to the CC local meeting. “Anyway, let you suggest a better solution to the problem of food scarcity faced by the people of CC,” said King Wilson.
The owl answered, “I have not found the solution to this problem, but we can host a meeting of the other leaders of other cities of CC; they can tell us some better solutions.” The king accepted the advice and hosted a meeting, where he invited all the leaders (only leaders) of CC. He decided to hold the meeting in Samoa, a city in CC.
The other leaders accepted his invite and decided on their own suggestions for the grand meeting. King Wilson also invited the leader from the country Tigaria, which was ruled by the leader named “Lord Tiggor.” He was a tiger and was known for his wisdom and braveness.
As the big meeting loomed, leaders from all over the Commonwealth started rolling into Samoa. They started the meeting and began to gather advice, but no advice was completely good. After all leaders shared their ideas, Lord Tiggor said, “We can design farms to work with nature.”
King Wilson finalized this idea as he liked it. This resulted in the continuation of happy living for the people of CC and also the beginning of the friendship between King Wilson and Lord Tiggor. The meeting was then named UNITY FOR PROSPERITY.
The success of the UNITY FOR PROSPERITY meeting inspired King Wilson and Lord Tiggor to collaborate further. They also launched a joint initiative to implement sustainable agriculture practices across the Commonwealth. This resulted in the beginning of strong relations between the Commonwealth country and the country of Tigaria.
This Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) didn’t just fix the food shortage problem; it also brought everyone closer together. It showed that by working as a team, showing wisdom, and caring for each other, even big problems can be solved. And this meeting remade the Commonwealth country like before – happy and peaceful.
