Happy Birthday Papa

Dear Papa, today is your birthday,
I have got something sweet to say.

That you are the best in every way,
I love you more than words can say!

You help me to smile when I feel sad,
You always cheer me up and make me glad.

You teach me things that are both big and small,
And catch and correct me when I start to fall.

You’re strong and kind and always near,
Your voice is calm and your hugs are sincere.

You guide me when I’m stuck in school,
You make hard things feel kind of fun and cool!

Dear papa, you shine like a star so bright,
Like stars that twinkle every night.

Today you turn a happy forty,
So here’s a wish that’s fun and sporty:

May your day be full of cheer,
With cake and joy and love you so dear.

I’m proud to be your lovely kid, you see
Happy Birthday, Papa, from me!
