Rainy Day – Essay
A day is considered rainy when there are dark clouds in the sky and water drops fall to the ground. The temperature drops to a comfortable level. The trees shake in the strong wind and the sound of rains hitting the ground, foliage and buildings produces a gentle melody.
The entire landscape alters when it rains. Water fills the fields and streets and tiny puddles grow all over. Some kids like to splash around in them, while others like to float paper boats. It feels new and fresh and the fragrance of damp earth fills the air.
Rain is incredibly beneficial to agriculture, trees and plants. Farmers are glad because their crops may grow nicely because it provides water to the fields. The rivers, ponds and lakes also get filled with water, which is important for animals, birds and people too.
On a rainy day, nature looks more beautiful. Trees become greener, flowers look fresh and the air feels clean. Birds often hide under trees to stay safe from the rain and after the rain ends, sometimes a rainbow appears in the sky, making it look magical.
The plants and trees look fresh and green after the rain. The smell of wet mud is something I love. But the most important part that I love is when my Amma makes hot pakoras with tea. My baba also just loves it when my Amm makes it. Eating them while watching the rain from the window was the best part of the day.
I love rainy days because they make the world look clean and beautiful. They also bring happiness and fun to everyone.
