Attention
The clock stuck midnight, Nakshvi, a 26-year-old nurse who worked in a hospital, was still on a round checking on the patients’ whispering reassurances, ignoring the fatigue weighing on her limbs. ‘Just one more,’ she told herself—again.”
The hospital corridors blurred as Nakshvi was trying to keep her eyes open and reminded patients to take their medicines and have something. Yet, her food was packed untouched in her bag. And all of a sudden, her head started hurting. She was now totally tired and exhausted.
Then a patient called her for help but, she couldn’t handle herself and fell on the ground. For the first time in her 14-year experience, she was like this. The doctors and the other nurses helped her to come in conscious. Finally, when she opened her eyes, she saw herself on the bed and she asked the doctor that what had happened to her. The doctor told her the whole story and told her to take some rest. Nakshvi, who helped a lot of patients in the hospital fell sick just because of ignoring her health and condition.
So, my dear friends remember, before helping others first look your condition and put your attention sometimes towards yourself also. It is very important to help your health when needed.
