Children’s Day Celebration
Children’s Day is such a fun day,
We laugh and sing in our special way.
In November we all get to say,
Thank you to Chacha Nehru, for this day.
Our teachers surprise us every year,
With games and shows to so much cheer.
We decorate our classrooms bright,
With colorful balloons left and right.
Sometimes our teachers act and sing,
They even dance and it’s the funniest thing.
We clap loudly and cheer them on,
It feels like all our worries are gone.
They give us treats like sweets and cake,
And we play games and win prizes to take.
Everyone at school are happy and free,
On this day it’s the best place to be.
For me it’s not just a regular day,
It’s a day to laugh, learn and to play.
Children’s Day is all about cheer,
And I feel so lucky to be a kid each year.
