Little Red Riding Hood – A Bedtime Story for Kids
Once upon a time, there was a sweet little girl who always wore a red cloak with a hood. So, everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood.
One sunny morning, her mother packed a basket with cake and juice and said,
“Take this to Grandma. She is not feeling well. Stay on the path, don’t talk to strangers and don’t stop anywhere.”

Little Red Riding Hood promised and skipped happily into the forest.
On the way, a big bad wolf saw her. He was hungry and clever.
“Hello, little girl,” he said. “Where are you going?”
“To my Grandma’s house,” she replied. “She lives in the little cottage at the end of the forest.”

The wolf smiled slyly and said, “What a lovely day for a walk!” Then he quickly ran ahead to Grandma’s house.
The wolf knocked on the door.
“Who is it?” Grandma asked.
“It’s me, Little Red Riding Hood,” the wolf said in a sweet voice.
Grandma opened the door and the wolf jumped in and locked her in the cupboard! Then he put on her nightgown, wore her glasses and got into bed.

Soon, Little Red Riding Hood arrived.
“Grandma, what big eyes you have!” she said.
“All the better to see you with,” the wolf said in a growly voice.
“Grandma, what big ears you have!”
“All the better to hear you with,” he said.
“Grandma, what big teeth you have!”

“All the better to EAT YOU WITH!” the wolf roared and jumped out of bed!
Just then, a woodcutter nearby heard her scream. He ran into the cottage and scared the wolf away.
He opened the cupboard and helped Grandma out. Everyone was safe!

Little Red Riding Hood said sorry for not listening to her mother and promised never to talk to strangers again.
Moral of the Story – Always listen to your parents and never talk to strangers. It keeps you safe!
