My Puppy Dog

My family got a new dog
Its fur is short and white
I totally love him
He is an absolute sight

He is a small puppy
And always outside my door
He licks me slurpy
And wags his tail for more

He is always by my side
No matter where I go
He is my friendly guide
When there is nowhere to go

He is my special friend
And walks me to my school
He is someone to depend
But he always drool

Every morning he greets
With a twinkle in his eye
He is so funny and sweet
Don’t ask me why
