Better Late Than Never
At its core, the proverb ‘better late than never’ ascertains that it is glorious to achieve the beauty of triumph and contentedness after delays, than isolating oneself from the splendid world in the ‘fear of failure’. Victory is attained after setbacks and regrets which postpones the taste of sweet bunch of berries, but after the nine failures, tenth time the berries would be sweeter. Delays are the goons to steal all the courage and devotion but surrendering is not the solely option. An individual needs to encounter these setbacks and embark on the glory of this proverb, “Better late than never”.
Postponed success nurtures one’s character either as a ladder to skies or as a disaster. A miniature delay is sufficient to spill water over the enhanced hardships. A diligent and a bold spirit knows the splendid greatness of the lost game they won. Quitting isn’t a priority; it is an attractive option that should be avoided even in harsh weather of existence.
Acknowledging the dedication of freedom fighters, from the ruling decades of Rani Laxmi Bai to the antagonists of British government like Bhagat Singh, they knew independence wasn’t instant but certain. From the centuries of Mughals, to the protest of Sikhs against the Jallian wallah bagh, they supported prosperity with the zeal of ‘better late than never’.
I assert, ‘Journey of success faces long traffic jams and rough roads but has the splendid destination to the mountain’s peak, away from every disturbance of this globe. To enjoy this smirking sunshine, the delays are needed to be encountered.
In conclusion, I wish to embark on the notion,” Better late than never” and assert the beauty of craving for triumph. Working against failures and carefully climbing the ladders to success is all what is required despite being frightened of falling in the valley.
