India: A Song of Many Rivers
From snowy peaks where eagles fly,
To oceans meeting the endless sky,
A billion dreams awake each day,
Lighting hope along the way.
India, land of stories untold,
Of hearts more precious than silver or gold,
Where ancient wisdom still softly sings,
And every season new wonder brings.
The Ganga flows with memories deep,
Guarding promises we still keep,
While deserts glow beneath the sun,
Reminding us that we are one.
In crowded streets and village lanes,
Through joy and struggle, loss and gains,
A spirit rises, strong and free,
A song of human dignity.
Not built by stone or power alone,
But by every seed that has been sown,
By teachers, farmers, workers too,
Whose silent courage carries us through.
O India, may your future shine,
With justice, knowledge, and design,
Where every child can dream and grow,
And kindness helps the whole world know.
The greatest strength a nation finds
Lives not in wealth, but in its minds;
And not in borders drawn apart,
But in the goodness of its heart.
So let the rivers, hills, and sea
Tell generations yet to be:
That hope is strongest when shared by all,
And together we rise, together stand tall
