The Storm
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a young girl named Lily. She loved to play outside and watch the clouds go by. One day, as she was playing, she noticed that the sky was getting dark, and the winds were starting to pick up. Suddenly, a loud thunder clap echoed through the sky, and the rain starts to pour down.
Lily was scared and ran back to her house. She curled up in her bed and listened to the sound of the rain hitting the roof. Suddenly, she heard a knock on her door. It was her friend, Max, who had come to take shelter from the storm.
Together, they sat in Lily’s room, listening to the storm rage outside. They laughed and told each other stories, trying to make the storm seem less scary. As the night went on, the storm slowly died down, and the rain stopped falling.
Lily and Max went outside to see the aftermath of the storm. They saw trees that had been knocked over, leaves scattered everywhere, and puddles of water. But they also saw the sun starting to peek through the clouds, and they felt the warm rays of sunshine on their faces.
The two friends realized that even though the storm was scary, it was also beautiful in its own way. And they were grateful to have each other to weather it together.
