The Gems of Courage
Once upon a time, there were two best friends, Rumi and Zoey. One Halloween night, their friends told them, “Go to the spooky palace.” Rumi and Zoey said, everyone tells there are demons, monsters, and ghosts which will eat all human souls, especially at 12:30 pm, and whoever dares to enter in there will not survive.
Their friends told them, We dare you both to go there, or we’ll not be your friend. Rumi and Zoey said fine and left in a scared manner. When they reached, it was 12:30 pm. They knocked on the front door and stepped in. All they saw were old, scary souls feasting with their friends.
Then one soul came to them and told Welcome to ghostie land. Here we invite our guests for a game. There will be 2 rounds. The first game is Hide and Seek. But you should find all 5 gems before it’s too late. The soul told Let’s begin and started counting. Rumi and Zoey hid under a bed. Rumi found something sparkling next to a flower pot. When she took it, to her surprise, it was the first gem, and both Zoey and Rumi told to the souls that we found the first gem, pause the game, and start the 2 round. The souls grinned angrily and told Let’s begin the 2 round. The game is to be quiet to survive. You should find all 4 gems, or else we will feast on your souls.
Rumi and Zoey went to the kitchen and started looking for the gems. Zoey opened a cookbook to see if there was a clue in there. But the book started screaming.”Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh”. Zoey threw it and ran with Rumi to hide before the ghost saw them. Then Zoey saw a shiny rock. And to her surprise, it was a gem and there were not only 1 but 3. Rumi and Zoey took it to the ghosts, and with the powers inside it, they turned the ghosts into humans like they were before.
After that, every Halloween night, all the parents tell their children about this story of courage and hope.
