Shiva’s Piano
One quiet Saturday afternoon, a boy named Shiva was bored. He wandered into his parents’ room, a place full of grown-up things he wasn’t usually allowed to touch. On the dressing table, his eyes caught a glimmer of gold—a strange, ornate key he’d never seen before. He pocketed it, feeling like an adventurer on a quest.
He soon found himself in the study, a forgotten room where an old, dusty piano sat in the corner. Suddenly, one pot fell down. As he looked at it, his gaze fell on a single, faded piece of paper lying on the floor. It was a note with a string of numbers: 2431. Because he was going to music class, he knew its meaning—“Re Ma Ga Sa.”
Shiva’s heart beat faster. He knew this was a musical code from his lessons. He ran his fingers over the piano keys, playing the notes in the order of the numbers: 2, 4, 3, 1. A strange sound echoed through the room, and suddenly, a loose piece of the wall behind the piano cracked and crumbled, revealing a hidden compartment. Inside, he saw a small, rusty door with a lock.
He tried all the keys in his house, but none of them worked. On the right side of the door, there was a drawer. He opened the drawer and found the golden key he’d taken earlier. To his surprise, it fit perfectly. The lock clicked, and the door swung open. A gust of cold, musty air rushed out.
He cautiously peeked inside, and a faint, shimmering figure appeared—a ghost! But it wasn’t a scary ghost. It simply pointed to an old, boarded-up window in the corner of the room. A soft, whispering voice echoed: “There is a surprise for you…”
Shiva, though a little nervous, followed the ghost’s lead. He carefully pushed open the window, and his jaw dropped. Outside was a place he’d only ever dreamed of: a magical, colorful water park! There were slides that twisted like ribbons, fountains that sprayed rainbows, and laughing people everywhere. There was a rainbow-colored waterfall, hidden caves, lazy loops, dancing water, and much more.
Overwhelmed with joy, he raced to grab his parents and his best friend. They all stood at the window, their faces lit up with amazement. The ghost smiled, faded away, and with a shared look of wonder, they all stepped through the window and into the greatest adventure of their lives.
They spent the rest of the day splashing, laughing, and sliding through the wondrous water park—a secret world unlocked by a mysterious key and a little bit of curiosity.
