The Topper and The Failure
The place that’s far above me.
She is the mighty one – Almighty!
Topper of the class, so elegant and smart,
A beautiful brain, with diligent marks.
Good for her, but bad for me,
Too high a place for me to reach.
If I knew her working process,
Would I be like her on result days?
She walks with calm, her head held high,
Confidence glowing in her eye.
While I just hide behind my page,
Trapped in fear, and silent rage.
She raises hands, her answers right,
Like stars that shine so clear, so bright.
And I sit still, afraid to try,
My questions lost before they fly.
She plans her days, she writes her goals,
Solving sums and reaching roles.
While I just stare, unsure, confused,
Worried that I’ll always lose.
