Picnic Fun
We went to the park, had a picnic day,
We all arrived and ran to play!
The sun was bright, the sky so merry,
A perfect day for me and my family!
We sat by a tree, so big and tall,
With flowers around, I loved them all.
We spread our mat and opened the snacks,
Juice, sandwiches, and crispy fries—no lack!
I played on the swings with dear granddads,
Grand mommies clapped and cheered—they made us glad!
Mumma played badminton with dad so neat,
I joined them too, trying to compete.
We had yummy lunch with chicken and rice.
An empty tummy made every bite nice!
The butterflies wiggled, the breeze was sweet,
Running and jumping, I moved my feet!
A picnic is magic, a day full of cheer,
I’ll dream of it until the next one is here.
