Night Pride - Poem - Moon - Little Authors

Night’s Pride

The wolves howl at the moon.
The sun whispers praises to it too.
Everyone falls asleep.
The moon pats our heads as the night creeps in.
All nocturnal animals walk around roaming the world big and proud.
For then the rain shall start to pour.
Then the moon shall give to the sun.
“Why moon why moon? Please come back! Can’t you stay another day? We miss you. I guess it’ll have to wait. But next time please stay.”
