Essay – My Favourite Teacher
Though I believe having a favourite teacher is even more unique, everyone has a favourite subject. Ms. Laxmi, our English teacher, is that teacher in my opinion. She is more than simply a teacher; she is a beacon of light that transforms education into a thrilling journey.
Even the most complex poetry or the strictest grammar rules are simple to understand thanks to Ms. Laxmi’s explanation style. She never only gives us the answers; instead, she guides our thinking and helps us come to our own conclusions. She asked us to describe our favourite cuisine without using its name once, when we were studying adjectives. Everyone instantly realized what adjectives were, and it was a lot of fun! Her lessons are never dull since she uses stories, plays and even silly riddles to teach us. She believes that mistakes are just stepping stones and she always encourages us to try again even if we get something wrong.
But it’s not just her teaching methods that make her so amazing. Ms. Laxmi is incredibly kind and understanding. She always has a warm smile and time for every student. She tells us anecdotes and even jokes during class which makes us laugh. She has a way of making English not boring but interesting. She often tells us stories about famous people who faced challenges but never gave up, inspiring us to be brave and strong. She teaches us about values like honesty, hard work and respecting others which I think are very important in life. She truly cares about us not just our grades but about us growing into good people.
Ms. Laxmi is my favourite teacher because she makes school a place I love to be. She teaches us how to learn, how to be curious and how to be better person. She makes me feel confident and helps me believe that I can achieve anything if I work hard. I feel very lucky to have a teacher like her.
